Transport cooperation without a platform fee

Pakoline is currently free for clients, carriers and dispatchers. No date has been set for introducing fees. The platform is supported by clearly labelled advertising and partner placements. If the terms change, users will be informed in advance.

What is free, and for whom

This is about the platform itself. Money for the transport and for a dispatcher's work stays between the people involved; the platform does not touch it.

  • Client. Registration, publishing an order and any number of them, viewing and comparing offers, messaging the carrier, following the delivery, reviews and dispute handling.
  • Carrier. The order feed, opening the contacts on an order, sending offers, routes and trips, inviting drivers, the cost and profit calculation for a trip.
  • Dispatcher. A public profile, requesting a contract with a client or a carrier, agreeing permissions, and acting for that party within them.

A dispatcher may charge for their own work: that is their price, not ours, and you agree it with them directly.

What the platform does not charge for

No exceptions in small print.

  • There is no commission on the transport. In the carrier's cost and profit calculation the platform's share is zero.
  • There is no fee for publishing an order, neither the first nor the tenth nor an urgent one.
  • There is no fee for responding. When a carrier opens the contacts on an order, the record carries a zero cost, and the event itself is named accordingly: opened without a charge.
  • There is no fee for a dispatcher contract: a contract is created only in the free mode, and the platform rejects any other.
  • The platform takes no money for the transport at all. Payment handling is closed by product policy and cannot be switched on from settings, because the policy is checked before the setting is.

Coins and paid responses, honestly

The code holds a coin balance and a response-price calculation. They were written for the future, and we will not pretend they are absent.

Right now they are locked. The wallet is not shown, coin purchase does not open, the response price comes back as zero for every order, and the billing mode is fixed in the code as free, switched neither by a setting nor from the admin panel. While that holds, responding costs nothing.

What supports the platform today

Advertising and partner placements. The platform has no other source.

  • Advertising also appears on the working screens: on the client and carrier dashboards, below the order feed, below matching and at the foot of an order card. It is labelled as advertising, carries the advertiser's name and sits in its own block — it is never mixed into the orders or lined up among them.
  • Money does not change the order of matching. Candidates are ranked by fit and by the detour a trip takes; there is no paid position in that calculation and nowhere to buy one.
  • When no campaign fits, the slot either hides itself or shows our own banner about the driver application.
  • An advertiser pays by invoice outside the platform and receives aggregate figures only: impressions, clicks, slot, role, language, country. Orders, messages and documents stay out of reach.

Why it is free right now

The platform is young, and what it needs today is density rather than revenue: someone to answer an order, and something for a carrier to haul. A fee per response on a half-empty marketplace destroys the very thing a marketplace is built for.

We will not promise free forever: a promise that has to be broken is worse than an honest "for now". No date has been set for introducing fees — that is not a turn of phrase, there genuinely is no such date.

How you will learn about a change of terms

In advance, not after the first charge. Material changes are announced through the service or registered contact details.

The service model is described in the Terms of Use, in the section "Service model and payments". Any change will appear there too, together with its date.

How this differs from marketplaces with a commission

Without a swipe at anyone: where a marketplace takes a commission, its share is built into the transport price, and the price is set with that share in mind. Some charge a subscription, some charge for every contact opened. These are working models; they feed a team and oblige it to answer for the service.

The difference is a single one: the sum a client and a carrier agree on arrives in full, because the platform is not part of the settlement. The other side of that is ours too — holding no money, we can neither hold a payment back nor return it.

The boundaries: what the platform does not do

The Terms of Use say the same; this is the short form.

  • Pakoline is not a carrier and does not become a party to the transport contract without a separate written agreement.
  • Payment for the transport is agreed directly between the client, the carrier and, where involved, the dispatcher — outside Pakoline.
  • The platform does not accept, hold, transfer, guarantee or refund that money; it is not a bank, a payment provider, an insurer, a debt collector or anyone's representative in court.
  • A dispute decision inside the platform is an operational decision, not a court ruling: it guarantees no refund and does not make Pakoline a party to the transport.

If someone asks you to pay for the platform

Nobody acting for Pakoline asks for payment for access, for publishing an order, for responding, or for "priority", "verification" or "lifting a restriction". An invoice in the platform's name, a request to transfer money to a card, a message saying pay for access or the account will be closed — that is fraud, whoever the sender claims to be.

  • Do not transfer money and do not give out a card number, expiry date, CVV, PIN, bank login or one-time code, and do not send a photograph of a card — not in chat and not by e-mail.
  • Keep the conversation and a screenshot: without them there is nothing to examine.
  • Write to support from the address the account is registered to, and quote the public order or trip code.
